Assalaamu alaykum dear community,
 

We would like to address the recent manipulated media articles published by the Sydney Morning Herald and the Daily Telegraph concerning Mr. Bizry - Principal of Sunnah Life Academy (SLA). These allegations are completely false and have no connection SLA.
 

The claims were made by Mr. Bizry’s ex-wife, Yasmina (Yasaar) Toefy, and pertain to events dating back to 2021, which she has only recently decided to report.
 

This is not the first time Ms. Toefy has targeted Mr. Bizry. In January 2022 and again in March of this year, she made similar outrageous claims.
 

We find these latest allegations extremely disturbing, and it is disheartening to see our Muslim community subjected to yet another Fitnah. May Allah protect us all.
 

Our tradition offers many examples of false allegations, with the stories of Aishah (رضي الله عنها) and Yusuf (ﷺ) serving as powerful reminders of the trials we may face and the lessons we can learn.
 

Mr. Bizry vehemently denies all allegations, and he and his legal team are fully committed to defending them in their entirety, in-shaa-Allah.
 

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Sydney Muslim community for their overwhelming support. We ask Allah to bring the truth to light and to make justice prevail. Ameen.
